Wherever you are, be all there – Jim Elliot
To be present is surprisingly difficult in a time where there is such a focus on ‘I’ and so many distractions to be had. Being present will change your life and the lives around you. The act of being present builds relationships, builds trust, increases the level of influence and will ultimately change your life.
For parents, being present with your kids is such a vital part of parenting and shaping the lives of your children. Kids need attention and deserve your attention. It is when they don’t get attention, you start to see a pattern of misbehaviour. Many problems can be fixed and avoided through the act of being present.
So go out and practice being present and watch how quickly your life changes.
